There are two screws to remove, they are located behind the front screen in the top and bottom left hand corners. Carefully prise up the black plastic front screen with a hobby knife blade and remove the two screws

Once you have removed the screws carefully prise the rear cover away from the front cover, easing your blade around the case, it is not too delicate but take your time! Once you have loosened the two covers you can open it up. There is a ribbon cable connecting the screen to the circuit board, you will have to remove the metal plate covering the connector - carefully prise it off with a small screwdriver. You can then lift the clamp on the ribbon cable connector, it hinges upwards NOT outwards.

Note. Plenty of room for a second/larger battery and there is a moulding for a small stylus, you just need to remove the external cover.
Re-assembly is just the reverse of dis-assembly.
