In the last email you asked me about fully pegged shoes vs fully welted shoes. My preference: dress shoes only need to be welted. Full pegging or pegging at all on a dress shoe is unnecessary as pegging was originally used to secure the sole before modern leather cements and welt stitch existed. It's still a good idea to peg the soles of cowboy boots because of the higher heel, and to effectively secure the metal shank in between the inner and outer sole, but not dress shoes.
Let me know if you need anything else, Amigo.
