The Postal Service shares your disappointment in our performance and assures you that we are very concerned with reports of delayed or lost mail. Please call the International Inquiry Center at 1-800-222-1811 to initiate an inquiry regarding international registered, recorded delivery, insured and any air or economy parcels that are uninsured. Please have the following information available:
· Mailing receipt number
· Delivery Confirmation number if available
· The names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the mailer and addressee
· Date of mailing
The International Inquiry Center will correspond with the destination postal administration and advise you on the results of the inquiry. We ask you that you wait a reasonable time for an international item to be delivered in the foreign country before initiating an inquiry. Inquires should not be initiated before the following number of days from the date of mailing:
· 3 days for articles sent by Global Express Guaranteed, but not later than 30 days
· 3 days for articles sent by Global Express Mail, but not later than 90 days
· 7 days for registered letter post, recorded delivery, or insured and ordinary parcel post sent by airmail, but not later than 6 months
· 30 days for registered letter post, recorded delivery, or insured and ordinary parcel post sent by economy (surface) mail, but not later than 6 months
We ask you to periodically visit the USPS web site for any updates in your shipment. When a determination is made that the article was lost, damaged, or rifled, the International Inquiry Center will mail you a claim packet with instructions. Returned claims must be accompanied with evidence of mailing, evidence of value, and any other documentation to support the claim. Please use the below url for web site information.
